John Tareugram has dropped his latest piece of futuristic electronic music with ‘Glorieux Passé’. The French head of Tartine Records has been provided with the entire B side of Nómada Records’ latest EP, Nómada White IV, with this tune standing out thanks to its funky basslines and unique jazz inflections. While it remains a retro house piece at heart, there are certainly moments of uniqueness spread throughout the track, with glitchy moments of silence breaking up the pulsing beats and sudden filters and volume drops facilitating dramatic changes in texture.
